Abstract:
City brand is an important factor affecting the high-quality development of the city.The realistic background of shaping the city brand of “Xinyang for a better Life” is: confidence needs to be boosted, strength is still insufficient, power is lacking, and industrial system is weak. Where does confidence, strength, power and industrial system come from? We can explore from the treasure house of the spirit of the Red Revolution in Dabie Mountain. The spirit of the Red Revolution is rich in a variety of scarce belief elements and power sources: the spirit of confidence-boosting the confidence of Xinyang people to develop;the spirit of innovation-energizing market entities; the spirit of cooperation-to stimulate industrial investment confidence. According to the belief logic, the development logic and industrial logic of shaping the city brand of “Xinyang for a better Life” can be deduced: Building a modern industrial system helps create a better life, creating a better life is in urgent need of private entrepreneurship, and stimulating private entrepreneurship by relying on industrial policies and development confidence; Relying on the comparative advantages of Xinyang to build a modern industrial system, relying on the private entrepreneurial spirit to promote industrial investment and development, relying on the modern industrial system to improve the happiness of Xinyang people. Based on this, the study puts forward that Xinyang can choose from the construction of local colleges and universities, improve the connotation of scientific and technological innovation, improve the level of financial services, and change the relationship between government and business, so as to build the city brand of “Xinyang for a better Life” and build a modern industrial system to provide talents, technology, capital and environmental support.
